A indoor location system is formed by integrating wireless communication, base station positioning, inertial navigation positioning and other technologies to realise position monitor of personal and objects in the indoor space.Common indoor wireless positioning technologies include Wi-Fi, ブルートゥース, infrared, ultra-wideband, RFID, ultrasound and ZigBee. but they are not prefect for accurate, low cost ,low power and long range indoor location system.

Based on new generation BLE positioning technology and LPWAN technology, we can provide a prefect and low cost wireless location solution for indoor and outdoor through combineing our LoRaWAN GPS Tracker and iBeacon product in the location system.

How it works

LoRaWAN GPS Tracker supports both BLE and GPS location. we can use the GPS positioning in the outdoor case. In the indoor case, the LoRaWAN GPS Tracker can be a BLE location device that can scan and get the BLE beacon information (the RSSI and MAC ) at the nearby and send the information to LoRaWAN server. There are two different cases for BLE location..

Scenario 1: If LoRaWAN GPS Trackers are fixed and known position, server will calculates the distance of nearby three different LoRaWAN GPS Tracker to the iBeacon according the RSSI, then the iBeacon position can be acquired according to the Pythagoras Theorem.

Scenario 2: If the iBeacons are fixed and known position,server will calculates the distance of nearby three different iBeacon to the LoRaWAN GPS Tracker according the RSSI,then the iBeacon position can be acquired according to the Pythagoras Theorem.
